Dedicated to the memory of Peter Finn
Peter passed away on 17th March 2021, aged 85. Beloved husband of Brenda. Dear father of Elizabeth (Nick), Margaret (Moss) and Damian (Dawn). Dear grandfather of Emily, Charlie, Grace and Jack; Eleanor and Olivia; Dominic, Patrick and Saskia, and much loved by his great-grandchildren, Izak, Islah, Morgan and Ernesto. Peter was well known in The Worthys for his books: A History of the Worthy Villages, A History of St Swithun’s Church, and A History of Headbourne Worthy. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Thoughts
Peter was one of the nicest men I have ever meet. He had a wonderful gentle manner and a huge kindness. My Late husband John and I enjoyed Peter and Brendas company for many years and we watched their lovely children grow up. I spoke with Peter recently to congratulate him on his lovely history book of Headbourne Worthy where I lived with John and girls for many years.I send all my love and thoughts to Brenda and family.
